Chemical technicians work at the heart of production.

You will perform an important control function in refineries and keep an eye on measuring instruments, pipelines and reaction vessels, among other things. Chemical technicians check, record and analyse measured values such as pressure, temperature, flow rate and pH values at regular intervals. Chemical technicians also rectify faults due to actuating valves, taps and fittings. They ensure that the production and processing of chemical materials, including gasoline, diesel or heating oil, runs smoothly.

You can complete this training at our TOTAL refinery in Leuna and at our bitumen plant in Brunsbüttel.

After successfully completing the apprenticeship, we will offer you a junior year. This is a fixed-term employment contract for twelve months.
