New Director for the Retail and Consumer Business at TOTAL Deutschland
Berlin, 29 June 2020 - Christian Howe was appointed as the new Director for the Retail and Consumer Business at TOTAL Deutschland on April 1 and succeeds Jan Petersen who heads the newly established Mobility and New Energies Directorate.
Christian Howe (48) has spent most of his career within the Total Group and has held various management positions in France, Belgium and Germany. A graduate in business administration, Howe was most recently responsible for the management of approximately 1,000 leaseholder-operated service stations for Total in France. This included the continuous network expansion as well as the shop and car wash business of the stations (2018-2020). Prior to this, he held a strategic position in the Marketing & Services division, responsible for the realignment of the division and the worldwide adaptation of the business roadmap at Total's headquarters in Paris (2015-2018).
As an expert in B2B marketing, Howe is looking forward to his new responsibilities: "The retail and consumer business has always been an extremely dynamic business area. As a matter of course, we are also increasingly working on digital and sustainable solutions for our products. I am therefore very much looking forward to working with my team on these topics in the coming years!”
