TOTAL and Deutsche Kinderschutzbund kick-off-joint Christmas Campaign 2016
For the sixth time since 2011, TOTAL and the German child protection association, Deutscher Kinderschutzbund Bundesverband e.V. (DKSB) are organizing a joint charity campaign. At the participant service stations TOTAL customers will receive an exclusive offer to purchase cups with the most popular Disney characters. The six different comic motifs are being offered in time for the Christmas season in gift packaging: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto –available as of today at TOTAL and while stocks last.
All customers filling up for a minimum of €20 and/or charging their wash card with €15 can purchase a Disney cup at the special campaign price of €2.99 and support a good cause. For each cup sold TOTAL will donate 50 cents to Deutsche Kinderschutzbund (DKSB).
Since 2011, we have been able to collect 500,000 Euro. This enabled the German child protection association to finance socially important functions. This is a great success which we want to repeat this year with good donation proceeds – help us achieve this!” Guillaume Larroque, Manager of Service Stations at TOTAL, declared on today’s kick-off of the campaign.
DKSB President Heinz Hilgers said: “With the purchase of the cups you are not only giving joy to your own children. Because of your donation the German Association of Child Protection is able to offer many children, youth and families support and care. We would like to thank our reliable partner TOTAL cordially for its longstanding commitment!”
With the donations DKSB supports in particular the work of 36 certified children’s houses BLAUER ELEFANT® nationwide and the ever so important lobbying work for children’s rights such as growing up without violence, as well as the fight against child poverty. The DKSB organizations are increasingly active in the cause of refugee families in Germany.
